Miso Tofu Bowl

This should really be called I emptied my fridge bowl and it was a success! I had a bag of asian salad kit, tofu, frozen rice and peas. So I combined it all together and it came out really tasty! This is for those of you who want to empty the fridge before the next grocery shop.

- firm tofu

-frozen rice

-frozen peas

-salad kit or (cabbage, carrot, greens onions)

-sesame seeds

-miso paste

-tamari

-toasted sesame oil

-sriracha and lime (optional)

Begin by draining the tofu and placing it in a paper towel to get rid of the excess water. Next chop into small squares. Heat a frying pan on medium heat with the sesame oil and place the tofu in there to cook and brown on all sides. Add splashes of tamari as well. Once cooked, add in the veggies and frozen peas. Add more tamari and maybe a bit of sriracha. I had leftover frozen rice so I just reheated that and combined it in the pan. Top it all off with sesame seeds and more hot sauce and bam you have a delicious meal.
